Waseem Bhatti

Director & Solicitor

Waseem Bhatti is the Director and a Solicitor at WM Solicitors. He cross qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and has built a strong foundation in legal practice through several years of prior in-house experience within a range of law firms.
He was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2007 and is a Barrister (non-practising). His dual qualification and breadth of experience enable him to approach legal matters with both analytical precision and practical insight, whilst effectively advocating for his clients before the Courts.
He also has experience advising clients in relation to charity law, employment law, and the preparation of wills and trusts, alongside a strong interest in commercial matters and landlord and tenant law.

Mehreen BhattBhatt

Director & owner

Mehreen Bhatt graduated with an LLB (Hons) in Law in 2002 and went on to complete a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Nottingham in 2004. Her academic achievements provided a strong foundation for a career that combines legal knowledge with extensive commercial experience.
Following her postgraduate studies, Mehreen pursued a number of successful business ventures overseas, establishing and managing several thriving businesses. Through these experiences, she developed exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and management skills, together with a practical understanding of the challenges faced by businesses and individuals alike.

Haroon Qayum

Senior Associate Lawyer

Haroon completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2008 and subsequently qualified as a Lawyer. Haroon joined the firm from a multi-nationally recognised law firm where he had devoted several years managing his own Litigation matters, whilst also supervising and training junior colleagues within the Litigation department. Haroon now has almost two decades of legal practise, specialising predominantly within Civil Litigation (Claimant and Defendant) and Dispute Resolution, including but not limited to:

Ghazala Ahmed

CONSULTANT SOLICITOR

Ghazhala Ahmed is a qualified solicitor with over 12 years’ post-qualification experience, having qualified as a solicitor in 2014, with more than 8 years of experience prior to qualifying.

She is highly independent and adaptable, with a strong ability to build effective professional relationships and manage complex, high-pressure legal matters. Her core practice areas include immigration and criminal law, alongside experience in family law, civil litigation, wills and probate, and commercial contracts, with recent focus on civil and contract-related work.

Nasar Ahmed

Nasar Ahmed is a foreign-qualified lawyer with over six years of experience across a broad range of practice areas, including civil litigation, commercial law, property matters, and family law, with experience of matters progressing to High Court level.
He holds an LL.B (Hons) and LL.M, and has successfully completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in England and Wales. His academic background, combined with his practical legal experience, has provided him with a strong foundation in legal practice and client care.

Trainee Solicitor

Sundus Syed graduated from LLB (Hons) in 2024 and subsequently began her legal training with the firm as a Trainee Solicitor. Since joining the practice, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to developing her legal expertise across a broad range of practice areas.

Sundus has already gained valuable experience in criminal law, family law, wills and probate, and has developed a particular interest in civil litigation. She approaches each matter with professionalism, diligence and a genuine desire to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
